About Cultural Nite - Aarohi
Keeping this belief in mind, V.N.I.T. brings to you Cultural Nite - Aarohi 2012. This lively night, marked by splendid performances by distinguished personalities in various fields, is the "Curtain Raiser" to Aarohi, Central India's largest Cultural Festival. This year, we proudly present to you the 8th edition of Cultural Nite. In the previous years, famous and brilliant artists like Urmila Matondkar, Ms. Surbhi Dhomne, Mr. Avadhoot Gupte and last year Mr. Amit Kumar and Mr. Sumit Kumar have performed in Nagpur.
Being a charity event, the proceeds from this event are donated to charitable organisations. We have contributed to "Shraddhananda" Anathalaya (Orphanage), Baba Amte's Anandvan, and CAFE (Child Adoption For Education).This year the proceedings will go to Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation which is a registered non-profit service organization dedicated to education and village development in rural India. Ekal's philosophy is to take a holistic approach to social and economic development. The power of giving comes from a selfless act - where you simply give from your heart. This act of giving is not tied to any special event, holiday or celebration - it is merely a time when you give from the heart because you want to share what you have, show your appreciation and you give because you truly care.
Cultural Nite 2012
The event promises to grow as Mr.Vinod Rathod and his group are coming to perform this year and make it a night to remember. This year the proceedings will go to Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation which is a registered non-profit service organization dedicated to education and village development in rural India.
